WordPress is pretty handy…. This is a little test to see if I am up and running and able to post blogs from my phone!!!!!

Upcoming shows in Downtown Lancaster!
If you live around the local area my mates and I call home, and I’ve done my necessary footwork… you will hopefully see one of these posters hanging around the Downtown Lancaster neck of the woods. We are playing a good handful of shows in the coming months in Downtown Lancaster at various venues/events! Keep this poster handy, print it out… all in the hopes that you will come on out to a show!

7th Annual Rootenanny ANNOUNCEMENT!
Saturday June 4th will be the 7th Annual Rootenanny held at the Heritage Hills Mini Golf Course Parklet – outdoors, under HOPEFULLY a beautiful summer sky!
Doors for the show will be at 6:30, and showtime will be at 7 with at least 2 sets worth of music from Mark DeRose & The Dreadnought Brigade… This year’s Rootenanny is so grateful to be sponsored by our friends at Wacker Brewery (http://wackerbrewing.com/) and Heritage Hills (http://hhgr.com). Rootenanny will feature Wacker’s tasty beers (Wacker’s Little Dutch and German Pale Ale will be on tap) at a “special one night only, Rootenanny price”. As well, Heritage Hills will have an assortment of “backyard picnic” style eats and a varied selection of beers and mixed drinks for sale.
“Ticket Price” for the show is a suggested donation of $5 and will be taken at the gate/merch table. The mini golf parklet is the perfect place to spread out a blanket or plop down in a lawn chair… so please feel free (and encouraged) to bring both with you!
Back into the STUDIO this weekend!
My mates and I in the Dreadnought Brigade will be heading in to the studio once again this weekend to take another step closer to wrapping up on our forthcoming EP release. I’m rather excited about this weekend’s effort for it will be a first of sorts… the HOPEFUL goal is to cut a song from front to end in one day. We think we can do it… and on this side of things, it doesn’t seem like we are being overzealous… now, we are of course at peace with the fact the musical muse will tell us “how it’s gonna be”!!! Stay tuned for updates…
