This Friday is Music For Everyone’s MUSIC FRIDAY! I will be playing with The Dreadnought Brigade in PENN SQ., in the center of downtown Lancaster from 6 to 9. COME OUT and have a good ol’ time with us…. last time we played this gig, it was a blast! It was truly a great experience to be a part of making music that brought a bunch of strangers together into one little impromptu street party!

The 5th… CORRECTION 6th Annual Rootenanny THANK YOU!!!
Thanks SO MUCH to all who came out to be a part of what TURNED OUT TO BE THE 6TH ANNUAL ROOTENANNY!!! Who knew? Well, I should of… and ended up figuring it out just before we opened the doors this past Saturday night. A little careful counting never hurt anyone!!!
The weather was UNBELIEVABLE….. and the crowd that grew throughout the night was such a pleasure to play for. I don’t like wishing life away, but I do greatly look forward to Rootenanny 2016, the 7th ANNUAL, to do it all over again. We’ve found a great little spot to host our event in the Mini Golf Park at Heritage Hills and look forward to doing the same in a year.
We will likely wiggle the date a bit… it would seem the end of JULY is a very common time for family vacation… Who knew? Well… again, maybe I should have counted.
When you have to say no, say it like Dogfish!
Micro Brew LOVERS… specifically, fans of Dogfish Head Brewery… I am overall, a fan of what Dogfish “does”… Enjoy their beer, EVEN more love their TOP to BOTTOM sense of branding… everything seems to go back to their “off centered” approach!
I just became even more of a fan and wanted to share…
I recently applied to perform at their Brew Pub in Rehoboth, and yesterday received a letter informing me that they are going to pass on my music for now.
They stated something to the effect of they appreciated my kind interest in wanting to work with them … enjoyed checking out my tunes and videos… but currently needed to pass on what I do…. and they sincerely thanked me for applying.
MOST gigs you hear nothing back… IF you are lucky, you get a form letter stating they are not interested (which is understood, they are bombarded by applications)… Taking the time to write me back individually is unheard of and greatly appreciated by me!!!
I suppose it’s more of that TOP to BOTTOM branding that they do… Keep up the great work Dogfish… it’s inspiring! (PS. I am hopeful to play at your venue in Rehoboth one day!!!)
ROOTENANNY ONLY 3 DAYS AWAY – Clear skies on the horizon!!
My previous post mentioned that we would be having the 5th Annual Rootenanny under the stars… WELL, I am excited to report that it’s looking like mother nature will provide those stars and clear skies!! The current weather report is forecasting a low of 68 and a high of 88 for this coming Saturday’s show!!!
We will be making our music on the Mini Golf Park Stage at Heritage Hills. As stated in previous posts, a suggested donation of $5 will be taken at the door/merch booth. Doors are at 7, show will start at 730.
Bring a blanket/lawn chair and enjoy the show. ADULT Cold beverages will be available for purchase, as well as ICE CREAM and ITALIAN ICE. This is one of our bigger shows for the year and we are hopeful you can come out and enjoy some tunes and summer time relaxation!!!
